Wellspring Celebrate Recovery merges with Mill Pond Church
We are now attending Celebration Meetings at Catalyst Church in Middletown. If you need a meeting on Friday night, we encourage you to join us there. If that doesn’t work for you, here is a list of other meetings in Connecticut.
Ministry to broken lives is a core value to us in the Wellspring community. I’m excited to announce the next season of recovery ministry here at Wellspring.
A new Celebrate Recovery meeting will kick off on Friday, September 11th at 7 p.m. at Mill Pond Church, 2175 Berlin Turnpike, Newington. Dan and Lynn Rouleau, Celebrate Recovery leaders at Wellspring, will join forces with Mill Pond’s Celebrate Recovery to establish a strong leadership team. Cedar Mountain Church will also be joining the joint effort.
If you are not familiar with Mill Pond Church, they are part of the Converge movement of churches of which Wellspring is also a part. Joel Rissinger is the senior pastor. Mill Pond Church is also the location of the Underground’s prayer meeting for the Berlin Turnpike. Cedar Mountain Church is pastored by Stephen Cianci. Many of you know Stephen and Tina Cianci through our close relationship with Calvary Christian Center in New Britain. Stephen and Tina served there for 15 years before starting Cedar Mountain.
The first Celebrate Recovery meeting will be Friday, September 11th at 7 p.m. at Mill Pond Church, 2175 Berlin Turnpike, Newington. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. The meeting typically ends at 9 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12 step recovery program for all who desire to heal from life’s “hurts, habits and hangups.” The ministry addresses a very broad scope of common life issues that many of us struggle with. For more about Celebrate Recovery, click here.
