We are glad to inform you that Wellspring will return to in-person services this Sunday, October 11. We will return to our regular schedule of 9am and 11am in-person services and an online service streaming at 9am.

We can share with you that the staff person who tested positive initially followed up with a more thorough test and tested negative. Even with this negative test, they remained away from the Wellspring staff and property for two weeks. Many of the other staff also got tested and every test returned negative. We are very encouraged by this news, as your safety and health is one of our priorities.

Guidelines for Reopening

As we return to in-person services, we will maintain the same protocols that were already in place. Primarily, we are asking for everyone to wear masks when they are not able to maintain social distance. We also will provide the “mask friendly” section where everyone seated in that section will wear a mask the entire service. We look forward top having many of you join us as we gather to worship. And we remain grateful for technology which allows others of you to join us online.

Process for Going Forward

We are establishing the following process for how we will handle Covid related situations in the future.

  1. We will maintain our regular schedule unless there is an extreme situation. That is, Wellspring will remain open and we will continue to have in-person services (9am and 11am), and online (9am)
  2. We have added a COVID UPDATE BUTTON (Click here for more info.) on our www.wellspring.net website and our WellspringCT mobile app. We will post any Covid related incidences or updates there. Everyone can check for the latest information at any time. For example, if we have another staff person test positive, we will share that information with you.
  3. We are empowering everyone to make their own decisions for how they will connect with Wellspring. It will be your choice (as it has been all along) to attend Wellspring in-person or online. This Covid update will give you additional information for you to make your own decisions.

Wellspring Is a Covid-Free Sanctuary

We will maintain our strong emphasis on our Covid-free sanctuary statement. We are grateful for all of your willingness to follow this protocol. We believe it has served us well, and the Lord has been protecting us.

These Are Our Current Guidelines For A COVID-FREE SANCTUARY:

Wellspring is a no-guilt- no-judgement sanctuary.
We refrain from all discussions of Covid-19 politics and policies.
If you feel ill or your health is compromised, please stay home and join with Wellspring online.
Please wear a face covering when you cannot maintain social distancing.

Psalm 91: Because we have made the Most High our habitation… no plague shall come near our dwelling.
