Continuing by popular demand, the Sunday morning class on the Old Testament led by Rod Cranford and Pastor Rick will pick up on Sunday morning, January 19. This session will focus on the writings of the prophets and the exile of God’s people to Babylon and then their subsequent return back to the land. In the class we will learn how to approach the prophetic writings and learn how God speaks to us through them. There will also be emphasis upon hearing God’s voice in and through the Word and how to partner with prophetic words of blessing. We will also pay careful attention to the prophet Habakkuk and the dialogue he had with the Lord that forms the heart of the prophetic book that bears his name.
Rod says, “I’m excited to continue this study and see how the Lord uses it to bring each of us into greater wisdom, maturity and equipping for our walk with God and for effectiveness in his Kingdom.”
The class will meet on Sunday mornings from 8:30 am – 9:45 am in Conference Room 2, beginning January 19 through March 1. Coffee and pastries will be served.
These are not drop-in sessions; you will need to sign up for the class. But anyone is welcome to do so.
You can register by signing up at the table in the cafe on Sunday, January 12th or by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
