Wellspring Small Groups are about following Jesus together in life-giving community. In groups, we develop deeper friendships and relationships as we encourage and support each other through fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.
Many groups meet at Wellspring on Wednesday nights, where childcare is available. Others meet in the living rooms of their leaders. These groups gather at different days and times throughout central Connecticut. Like the people that make them up, they all have different personalities and dynamics, but they are united in purpose: to follow Jesus together.

Please let us know if you’re interested in baptism. We would be glad to have a conversation with you about the significance of baptism or get you signed up for our next baptism, which will include participating in a short Sunday morning prep class.
Baptism is a declaration of our identification with Jesus and desire to follow him, like a pledge of allegiance. Following Jesus’ example, we do this by submerging you in a pool of water and pulling you back up again. This represents the death and burial of one’s old self and one’s unification with Jesus’ resurrection.
A Sunday morning class that runs each fall on who we are and why we do what we do at Wellspring
Our mission is “to be a Wellspring of life,” and this interactive class is about exploring what that means. If you are interested in learning more about Wellspring’s history, mission, vision, and values or you’d like to get more connected to the Wellspring community, be sure to check out this class on Sunday mornings.
Classes are offered seasonally and are promoted on the website, in the service, and in the e-newsletter. Uf you are interested in talking to someone about these classes or adding your name to a list for upcoming classes, please contact the church office.
Past classes include: Hearing God, Developing Your Prophet Gifting, Becoming a Prayer Servant to Others, and the Elijah House Training. Most classes meet at the church at different times throughout the week.
Periodically, we offer topical Bible classes and courses on activating faith. We also have classes on timely issues, like parenting, marriage, finance, etc.
Groups like the Women of Wellspring host gatherings and classes to encourage one another. Past classes include The Marriage Course, a course for deepening and strengthening your marriage; Firestarters, a course on becoming modern-day revivalists; parenting classes; and Financial Peace University, a course on money-management.
