God loves our children, and so do we! As our children grow, they mature, but at every step along the way, they have full-access to the God we love, serve, and worship as adults. Because of this conviction, Wellspring Kids isn’t simply a Sunday classroom. Through Bible teaching, children are introduced to the amazing and powerful love of God. They learn to pray and to hear God’s loving voice for themselves, and they are encouraged to ask hard questions.
Wellspring Kids meet in age-appropriate classrooms during Sunday morning services. Classes are taught by trained volunteers and Wellspring Staff and might involve everything from hands-on crafts, outdoor water games, acting out a story, guided prayer, small group discussion time, and traditional Bible study. Through these exercises, children are challenged to ask critical questions of themselves and dream about who God made them to be now and in the future!
The kids’ class time is special for them, but Wellspring has also been blessed by the rich community our children have formed. The kids’ prayer for the congregation and its ministries, leadership in worship and dance, and all-around love for the community enriches Sunday mornings for everyone!

A dynamic team of adults and teens pour into our children EVERY week. From check-in volunteers to teachers and assistants, this group makes everything we do in Wellspring Kids possible!
Wellspring families with children ages 4-5 are invited to enroll in Well Digger Weekday Preschool, which runs in fall, winter, and spring sessions from September to June.
Safety is of utmost importance to us, and because of it, check-in stations are located outside of our classrooms. There, parents and children are given matching stickers, which enables us to instantly page parents in the Sanctuary in the event of an emergency. Additionally, all volunteers with Wellspring Kids have gone through background checks, undergo training, and are supervised by Wellspring Staff.
At Wellspring, we invite parents to dedicate newborns to the Lord, and we come around them as a supportive church community. When children are old enough to decide for themselves to be followers of Jesus, they go through a special baptism class and are then baptized in service on Sunday mornings with adults.
We are so grateful for Wellspring Kids! When our children were very young the seeds of faith and prayer were planted. They know of God’s goodness and faithfully turn to Him when in need. Now that they are a little older, we are so thankful for their teachers who serve in their classes to bring the Bible’s teachings to them in a fun and interesting way. We are excited that our children get to begin their school week being reminded of God’s love!
My children, ages 5 and 7, have been attending Wellspring Kids since birth. As my children have progressed through the programs (my youngest is in Well Diggers and my oldest is in Go Fish), I have seen an increase in their faith in God. Both children randomly burst into worship at home. My youngest even ran over to window one day and sang out loudly (to no one in particular), “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so!” My older child often comes home and asks questions about things that she learned in Go Fish. She wants to know Jesus on a deeper level. Thanks to Wellspring Kids, my children pray with expectancy and love others like they know Jesus does. I look forward to watching them become Wellsprings of Life!
