Welcome!

Welcome!

We desire to be a community that lives by faith, is known by love, and is a voice of hope. These characteristics prevail in and through the heart of the good news, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus is a lifelong, day-by-day endeavor of faith and obedience, challenge and opportunity, surprise and joy, which is why we gather as a church and do everything that we do– together.

People come to Wellspring from all different places in life. We invite you to join us on a Sunday morning or at special event. It would be an honor to have you as our guest.

What to Expect

What To Expect?

At Wellspring, you will find:

  • A welcoming comfortable environment (casual attire)
  • Two Sunday services at 9am and 11am (both services are the same, and each lasts about an hour an a half)
  • Talks grounded in the Bible and relevant to today
  • Live worship music (best of old, new, and originals)
  • Fun and faith-filled teaching for children (Wellspring Kids meets during both services)

Sunday morning services are a kind of home base at Wellspring– a place where we all gather, worship God through song, respond to what God is doing among us, and learn from the Bible. On any given Sunday, you’ll meet folks who have been in church their whole lives, people here for the very first time, and everything in between; so you should feel comfortable to simply come as you are.

Life At Wellspring

Life At Wellspring

We believe that because of Jesus, everyone can experience forgiveness, freedom, and wholeness. However, we also believe that we are meant to partner with God to extend this peace and healing to every part of our world– business, education, the arts, families and relationships, and everything else you can imagine. This day-by-day of following Jesus has a lot of ups-and-downs, so we seek to do it together.

We share life together in many different ways, we invite you to explore them by browsing through our website. A few highlights that may be especially interesting to newer individuals and families are outlined below

  • Welcome Receptions: Weekends at Wellspring are busy places. The activity and movement is exciting, but personal relationships are foundation. Drop by a Welcome Reception to meet the pastors, staff, and elders in a comfortable, informal setting. These receptions are held the first Sunday of each month immediately after services. Keep you eyes posted for the next reception date, then come out and say hello!
  • We Are Wellspring Part I: An interactive, three-week crash course on who we are and why we do everything we do. Wellspring’s mission is to be a Wellspring of life, but walking in that life and releasing it can be hard. Offered during the 9am services in September and January, this class is an introduction to the big-picture– who we are as individual Jesus-followers and the specific roles that we fill together as Wellspring Church.
  • We Are Wellspring Part II: Explore Wellspring’s core values in depth and how they integrate with the life of the church. Taught by a different leader each week, this drop-in, ten-week course runs during the 9am service in the fall. We Are Wellspring- Part I is not a necessary prerequisite. Slip-in whichever Sundays work for you!
What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe in the love and goodness of God the Creator.

We believe every person is made in God’s image and has great worth; that we are designed for a personal relationship with God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the expression of God’s love to this world; that he came to show us who God is and to bring near to us forgiveness of sin through his death on the cross and newness of life through his resurrection from the dead.

We believe this forgiveness and new life are offered to us by God’s grace and received through faith.

We believe the Holy Spirit is given to every believer as the expression of God’s presence and power for this new life as a follower of Jesus.

We believe that the life of following Jesus is best lived out in a community with other believers who are walking together in relationship for encouragement, support and shared mission.

We believe that the Bible is our authoritative word and direction for our lives as followers of Jesus.

We believe that the message of Jesus brings hope to individuals and to our world. This message of hope is embodied in what Jesus calls, “The Kingdom of God” or God’s saving work and gracious rule brought into our world where men and women welcome him.
