Alpha
Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, nonthreatening setting over a ten week time period. It is especially designed for those who want to investigate and establish whether Jesus Christ has any real relevance for their lives. The course is typically run in the fall and spring. Alpha consists of dinner, a brief talk addressing a key issue relating to the Christian faith, and a small group where there is an opportunity to ask questions, express opinions, and discuss the topic of the evening.
We are looking for leaders and helpers who are comfortable interacting in a small group setting with our guests who are investigating key elements of the Christian faith. Opportunities to support these courses are also available for those with gifts of hospitality by creating a warm and welcome environment for our guests to enjoy the dinners together. Of course there are always opportunities to join the next course.
