Student Ministries
The Student Ministries are for those in grades 7-12
Philosophy of Ministry:
“Relationships Transform Lives.” The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to call students into a deeper walk with God.
In Genesis 1:26 we read that God says, “Let us make man in our own image.” In that verse we see God’s relationship with himself, and his desire not only for relationship with his creation, but to also have good relationships reflected in his creation. Our relationships with others are, by design, the greatest influences in our lives. Our desire is to strengthen the positive relationships in student’s lives, thereby building up the positive filters and influences for the countless decisions they face.
Relationships: What we seek to build…
We want to see the students develop and deepen their relationships with God, with the youth leaders, and with each other, in order to strengthen their relationships with their families, friends and communities.
Community: What we seek…
We want to develop relational connections that foster an environment of acceptance and belonging. We seek to do this through “hang time,” game time, worship, teaching, and small group discussion called Life Groups.
Events: Ways we seek…
Those that we host, promote and attend are carefully designed and chosen to create opportunities to strengthen and deepen relationships and community.
