Enrichment Classes Winter '11

Winter enrichment classes begin February 2.  February 9th!  (Marriage Course still beginning February 3rd).

We truly have a class for everyone! 

WHEN: 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesdays at Wellspring (unless otherwise noted)
COSTS:  Listed below in each class's detail
CHILD CARE: Provided each class night free of charge for Children ages 5-12

  2. The Marriage Course - Any married couple can strengthen their relationship together.
  3. Communicating with Your Teens - Start a dialog that will improve your communication skills with your teenage son or daughter.
  4. The Marriage Preparation Course - Any engaged couple can develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage.
  5. Me and My Big Mouth - SORRY, THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR WINTER 2011.
  6. 2011 Year Verse - Participate in creating this year's artistic expression of the year verse.
  7. Going Deeper into 1 Corinthians - Explore Paul's epistle in greater depth.
     

Winter Classes:


1. Financial Peace Mark Wuesthoff

2. The Marriage Course Herb & Jan Speer and Dale & Debbie Balukas
This course is designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship together, particularly for the challenging stages in marriage – new family, career change, teenagers at home, empty nest, becoming in-laws. The Marriage Course is guaranteed to launch you and your spouse into significant and confidential conversation. Class begins Thursday, February 3, and concludes Thursday, March 17, beginning at 6:30 pm.

Improve communication with your teen. Investigate issues like the cultural impact on vocabulary, social networks and their consequences, patterns of communication, and expectations in communication. We will not solve all our communication issues, but we will open up a dialog to improve our communication skills. Class begins Wednesday, February 2, and concludes Wednesday, March 2. Meets at Mooreland Hill School.

This course is designed to help any engaged couple to develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. Each week, short talks are interspersed with fun exercises and questions for you to discuss together as a couple. Class begins Wednesday, February 2, and concludes Wednesday, March 2, beginning at 6:30 pm.
Cost: $50 (Includes dessert)

 6. 2011 Year Verse Ed Tuttle
Based on his experience and disciplines learned as a Christian in the field of illustration and design for over 30 years, Ed Tuttle will direct students through the process of creating artistic impressions based on Wellspring's 2011 year verse. Together, the class will study the Scriptures, submit sketches and ideas, and critique one another's work. The final goal is to create a gallery of imagery (drawings, paintings, photography, sculpture, etc.) that can be displayed in Wellspring in time for Resurrection Sunday. Class begins Wednesday, February 2, and concludes Wednesday, March 23.

7. Going Deeper in 1 Corinthians Pastoral Staff
Corresponding with a weekend teaching series that will work through the book of 1 Corinthians, these gatherings will be an opportunity to explore Paul's epistle in greater depth. Bring your questions from the previous weekend's message, ask questions on the text that weren't covered in the message, or hear parts of the staff's study that wasn't included in the weekend's message. Class begins Wednesday, February 2, and concludes Wednesday, April 27.
No Cost.  Feel free to drop in on this class any week during the series.
