10/3 – Youth Group Outreach at 10am in New Britain

The youth are going to be serving at Right Now Ministries by cleaning the kitchen where they serve meals.  This will be an opportunity to be of service to a community our teens generally wouldn’t cross paths with.  It’ll be a great chance to extend our reach and extend love to another part of the Body that serves so selflessly throughout the week!

10/4 – 9am Service Online Only: Guest speaker Ariel Blumenthal

We are blessed to have Ariel and Vered Blumenthal and their family visiting with us. They help pastor a Messianic congregation in Jerusalem and are part of the Revive Israel ministry. They are supported missionaries of Wellspring. Ariel will be our guest speaker for the morning service. We look forward to hearing about their ministry, both in Jerusalem and throughout the world. Tune in online and be prepared to have your mind informed and your spirit stirred.

10/11 – 9am service: Wellspring Kids Classes Begin

Fall Classes begin on Sunday, October 11th during the 9am service for Kids ages 2-12.  We’ve created a new “Parent and Infant Room” for ages 0-1 in lieu of a Nursery Class.  This will be a comfortable place for parents to be with their babies (we’ve added a few couches), and have the option to watch the livestream of the service in the Nursery room.

10/11 – 9am & 11am services: Guest speaker Jeff Collins and 6pm: Special service with Jeff Collins

It is always a gift when we can experience a Jeff Collins infusion. Jeff is a dear friend of Wellspring. Although we will not be hosting a full “camp meeting” this year, we have scheduled Jeff to speak at both Sunday morning services.  In addition, we will have an evening service with Jeff, giving us a chance to spend a more informal and extended time in worship and ministry.  Jeff carries an anointing for the presence of the Lord, and the oil seems to drip on everyone who comes near. I encourage you to take advantage of a special time with the Lord through Jeff’s ministry and anointing.

10/18 – 9am & 11am services: Guest speaker Patience Ahmed

Patience has been part of the Wellspring family for over a year. She has been in the states for extensive schooling and experience in psychological and mental health. She is now prepared to take her education, blended with her deep faith, and serve her native country, Nigeria. We have asked Patience to share her story with us. We will also have a chance to pray for her and send her off with a spiritual covering and blessing from the Lord and Wellspring.

10/18 – 6:30pm Healing Conversations

Talking About Race, Ethnicity And Reconciliation From Perspectives Of The Kingdom Of God.  Conversations that we hope will begin to help us become better equipped for this ministry of reconciliation and making peace. Specifically we will be hosting conversations that focus upon our experiences of race, ethnicity and about building bridges of understanding and trust that can lead to deeper relationships with brothers and sisters who come from different backgrounds than we do.

10/20 – 6:30pm: Wellspring Kids Drama Club

Kids in Grades 2nd through 6th grade are welcome to join Wellspring Kids Drama Club!  We will meet every Tuesday Night from 6:30pm – 8:00pm in The Space.  Join in the fun as we will work on skits, puppetry, improvisation, character development, and much more!  This will be a great time of building community, and growing in our identity and confidence in Christ as we practice different skills related to drama.

10/25 – 9am & 11am: Hand out Christmas Shoeboxes

At Christmas time, Wellspring has the special opportunity to bless the children on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. By putting together a shoebox Christmas gift, we can bring joy to boys and girls who would otherwise receive very little at Christmas.
