Remainder of 10 Days Cancelled; 9/27 Sunday Service Online Only
We learned late this afternoon Friday September 25th, that one of our staff members tested positive for Covid-19. Consequently we are cancelling the remainder of the 10 Days of Prayer gathering that we have been hosting under the tent in our parking lot. We also are cancelling our in-person services for this coming Sunday and will only be having one online service at 9:00 AM.
From the beginning of the pandemic shutdown, the health of our congregants has been and continues to be of highest priority. We have sought to be consistent in keeping faithful to that priority and with all of you who call Wellspring your spiritual home. We will reopen for in-person services when we are confident that we can do so safely for all involved. Keep posted for updates.
The good news is that our staff member has very mild symptoms, and the doctor is not greatly concerned for our team member’s well-being. However, this member will be quarantining and we have felt the need to take the steps outlined above. We ask everyone to monitor their own health. If you feel you have symptoms, please see your doctor.
I am disappointed that we need to take these steps, but I feel a great sense of peace from the Lord in taking them. The 10 Days gathering has been wonderful and I believe that we have kept faith with the assignment the Lord gave us to undertake in this extraordinary expression of worship, prayer and repentance. Remember we did this because the nation is in multiple crises and our prayers and repentance are critical at this time. Please keep praying!
More updates will be coming forth over the next few days as we make decisions regarding how we will proceed. Please pray for wisdom and pray for our staff member and for the congregation. Thank you.
Blessings, Pastor Rick
