Join the Greeters & Welcome Teams!

“Good morning, welcome to Wellspring! Hope you enjoy the service and have a blessed day!”
It seems so simple, doesn’t it? And it comes so naturally to many of us. Yet to new people coming into the church for the first time, it makes them feel welcome and helps set the tone for them to have an enjoyable and spirit filled experience at Wellspring. It also makes people more likely to come back week after week, and it may help them decide to become a permanent part of our Wellspring family. We want to cultivate an atmosphere that both welcomes and honors our newcomers.
Would you prayerfully consider joining the Wellspring Team of volunteers? We need Greeters for both the 9am and 11am services. Greeters are important and very much a necessity because they are the first people newcomers encounter upon entering our church. First impressions are very important, and welcoming newcomers to the body of Wellspring Church shows how much we honor them!
We also need Welcome Center volunteers after each service. This provides an opportunity for new people to ask questions and get more acquainted with our Wellspring Community. God has called us to be a diverse community of believers, who not only worship and pray together, but also who serve one another as Jesus would.
You might be wondering how you may use your specific gifts to serve others at Wellspring? There are several opportunities to volunteer. The need for greeters and welcome center volunteers is great. You can make a tremendous difference in helping our newcomers feel both welcome and appreciated. Please prayerfully consider joining our team of volunteers. Helping in this way will not only bless others but you as well, more than you can ever imagine. God has a way of blessing those who serve others in such a selfless way.
If you are interested in helping as a greeter or volunteering at the welcome center, or if you have any questions, please contact Chris Ann Tufts at the church at 860-225-0661 ext. 141. You will then be put on the schedule based on your availability.
Thank you in advance for prayerfully considering becoming a greeter or welcome center volunteer. May God bless you abundantly, and may you use your talents and gifts to glorify God and serve his people.
