A Message from the Elders–

Hallelujah! The Elder Board is rejoicing in how good it is to be gathering again more fully and reconnecting with our Wellspring family in person! Like you, we are so grateful for the strength and provision of the Lord during the pandemic and now for greater freedom and opportunity to move forward in the mission and calling He has for our body.

We invite you to meet with the Elders. We want to share with you and receive your input regarding the renewed Vision Statement the Lord has confirmed for Wellspring, and which the pastors expounded upon from the pulpit in April:

Our Vision is to be a catalyst of spiritual renewal and revival in our local communities and beyond.

We pursue this vision through:

• A priority of worship and intercession, the living word, Holy Spirit empowerment, and authentic ministry to broken lives.
• Growing a genuine community of grace and affirmation where the Lord is pleased to dwell and people are drawn to his presence.
• Becoming an apostolic resource to the greater Body of Christ and partnering with Spirit-empowered ministries and kingdom-minded movements around the nation and the world.

We believe this vision provides the framework that drives our direction and leads our actions and ministry. We believe the Lord is on the move, creating new wine and we want to be new wineskins. We are confident the Lord will fulfill this vision and His favor will be upon us if we align ourselves with the agenda He directs for our catalytic call. WE ASK THAT YOU JOIN US IN PRAYER AND PRESS IN FOR THE LORD’S LEADING. Together, we believe the steps we are to take will be made known.

In Preparation for meeting please prayerfully consider the following questions:

*What does it mean to be a catalyst of spiritual renewal and revival?
*How can Wellspring effectively minister to broken lives?
*How do we foster a genuine community based upon grace and affirmation?
*What does is mean to be an apostolic resource to the greater Body of Christ?
*How do you believe God has called and equipped you to participate in the vision?

We have scheduled a few opportunities to elicit from you what the Lord may be speaking:

Thursday, June 17 at 7PM – Coffee and Connections in the Cafe
Thursday, June 24 at 7PM – ZOOM meeting. Please use the following link:

Email the Elders: If you are unable to make the above, please feel free to send your responses to elders@wellspring.net . Life Groups may want to pray together and email us your feedback as well.

We have, or will be, meeting with the children and youth also. Please know that everyone’s response will be heard and valued! And, as always, if you hear a word from the Lord for Wellspring at any time, please send it onto us or the pastors. As Pastor Wes taught us, if we have kingdom vision, we must be sure it is powered by God himself, through his power, heart and mind. And, we pursue our vision in unity with faith, hope and LOVE. Vision without love is nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:2-3 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[a] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
