A Convoy of Hope Released over New Britain

A Convoy of Hope Released over New Britain
Last Saturday over 10 churches from New Britain and surrounding towns joined together to bless the City of New Britain and its people. Convoy of Hope, a national organization, pulled into Walnut Hill Park and unloaded an entire tractor trailer load of food and supplies. Well over 100 volunteers then proceeded to break down the pallets of food and assemble bags and boxes ready to be distributed for free to anyone who could use the help. By the end of the day, absolutely everything was distributed as many people were blessed.

Along with the food distribution, the churches operating as The Church of New Britain blessed many who came for ministry in the prayer tent and entertained kids who enjoyed song, games, and bouncy houses. Throughout the entire afternoon we also brought praise and glory to the Lord with a shared concert of worship and prayer.

We want to thank everyone from Wellspring who served with such joyful hearts and attitudes. May the Lord bring forth a great harvest from the seeds that were sown all day long. Enjoy looking at a few pictures that try to capture the spirit of this great event.
