Wellspring’s 2022 Year Verse
Now is the time, this is the place, we are your people!
This phrase came forth during our 10 Days of prayer this past September and continues to shape our sense of who Wellspring is at this particular time. In a world of confusion, uncertainty, and fear, Wellspring instead declares that we align ourselves with a Kingdom worldview. And we sense the urgency to say, May your Kingdom come now, may your will be done here. So we are embracing this phrase as our year verse for 2022.
Now is the time, this is the place, we are your people!
We are preparing ourselves, positioning ourselves, and posturing ourselves to help usher God’s kingdom into our world, and to be willing to follow as he leads. We find this pattern repeated through the scriptures and throughout history. God looks for a people humble and desperate for him, but also bold and faith-filled enough to partner with him for his Kingdom to come. We are drawing our year verse from two such passages:
Now is the time of God’s favor. Now is the day of salvation! II Cor 6:2
Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power. Psalm 110:3
To help us step into 2022 and into our year verse, we are designating January for a concerted prayer emphasis. Below is a Prayer Guide that explains the purpose of the prayer month and lays out the details for this effort. We are asking you to join us in specific prayer points, with some expression of fasting, and by participating in a 24hr prayer vigil at the end of the month (January 29-30).
Please take a few minutes to review these additional resources and see how you can partner with your Wellspring family to pursue the Lord and his purposes for 2022.

We asked Brooke Arnold, one of our high school students and a budding artist, to visually express our year verse. Brooke richly captures the verses and Wellspring’s connections with Connecticut’s revival routes, and our focus on the Lord for a fresh release of his living water today. Thank you Brooke for sharing your art with us.
