Congregational Meeting Report

We want to thank everyone who attended the annual congregational meeting this past Sunday evening. After some administrative business was taken care of, two new business matters were presented, discussed, and approved by the congregation. The first was the 2022 Budget. Although there are many challenges before Wellspring right now, the proposed budget represents a commitment to the ministry and operation of Wellspring. The congregation voted unanimously to approve the budget, making the statement that we are trusting God and believing in his purposes for Wellspring and our calling.
The second was the election of Elders. We elected Nadine Brennan, Kathie Minerly, Stacy Propfe, and Billy Santarsiero to serve a second 3-year term. We elected Nancy Arnold, Steve Briggs, Matthew McMahon, and Julie Ozbun as new elders to join the board. (Jake Galloza, Amy Harris, and Andrea Smith are currently serving as elders as well.)
As important as the specific business matters and votes were, the tenor and spirit in the room throughout the meeting was equally significant. There was a strong sense of unity, commitment, and anticipation as we openly and honestly considered where we are as a ministry and where we feel the Lord is leading us. Kathie Minerly closed the meeting by leading us in a prayer of thanksgiving and commitment. It seemed to serve as a commissioning, once again declaring Now is the Time, This is the Place, We are your People.
VIDEO OF PASTOR RICK SHARING THE STATE OF THE CHURCH
In the middle of the meeting, Pastor Rick shared a State of the Church letter which captured both a ministry perspective and an operational perspective for Wellspring at this point in time. We encourage you to listen to his presentation by clicking HERE.
