Thriving In Spite of Trauma

Hi, my name is Kathy Williams and I want to invite you to join a support group I will be leading this fall. When I first came to Wellspring years ago, I was a hot mess. Years of undiagnosed depression was causing my systems to shut down. I had lost all hope and was barely going through the motions of living. But God wasn’t giving up on me, and through his intervention I landed at Wellspring. Here I found a Christian fellowship and sound counseling. These things, along with Jesus’ gentle hand in mine, led me on a path back to life!

I would like to share some of the things I have learned that have helped me stay connected to Jesus and stay on the path to wholeness. I have assembled a collection of tools and simple strategies that have proven very helpful along the way. I’m inviting you to join me and Suzette Gruner in a four-week support group where we can encourage one another. I can share some of these helpful strategies with the group, and I can learn from you as well. I am not a counselor, but I am no longer a hot mess–and I am getting stronger in the journey as I go. Anyone is welcome to join us.
The group will be meeting after church from 12:15 – 1:15 on Sunday 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2. To learn more about the group, I will have a table in the Cafe on 8/28 and 9/4. You can sign up then, or you can contact the church office: 860-225-0661, office@wellspring.net
