For the last few years, Missio Youth Group has attended the events of a ministry called YX Movement. They are a Youth-Centered ministry that brings together youth groups from surrounding communities through services hosted at participating churches. Our main participation has been through annual YX Retreat, which we have sent students to for the last 2 years. They have been life-changing weekends for each of the youth that have attended.

I am excited to announce that Wellspring will host the upcoming service on November 17th at 7:15 PM. There will be worship, testimonies, a special expression by our newly formed MISSIO Dance Team and a message. We labeled this service an “Encounter Service”, because we have witnessed encounters each and every time we engage with the Lord through YX. So this is a declaration of expectation. We know we serve a God that is ready and willing to respond to the call of His people! Although the ministry is youth-focused, any and all ages are encouraged to attend! It is an opportunity to become acquainted with the ministry, its diversity, and its leadership. We believe that this is another step in the direction of investing in a wider expression of the Body of Christ outside the 4 walls of our church, and our desire to be at the forefront of that vision.

We hope to see you there to support our youth group, but also to be a willing participant and witness what God is doing through the ministry.
