Membership Class: Sunday, February 23 at 8:30 am or Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 pm
MEMBERSHIP:
Pastor Rick will lead a class for new members in the upcoming weeks. The purpose of the class is to provide some basic information about the history of our congregation, how we operate and govern ourselves, what we are about in terms of our shared mission, and what it means to be a member of Wellspring Church.
The same class will be offered on two separate occasions. On Sunday, February 23, a class will be offered at 8:30 am, and will be held in Room B-5 in the lower level of the old building. The second offering of this class will be held on Tuesday, February 25, beginning at 7:00 pm, also in B-5. Again, these classes will be presenting the same material. Those interested in becoming members of Wellspring will need to attend one of these classes.
BAPTISM:
We are also planning for believers’ baptism during a Sunday service in mid-March. Jesus calls every one who professes faith in Him to proclaim that life commitment by being baptized. Baptism is not presented in the New Testament as optional. At Wellspring believers’ baptism is a requirement for church membership. We are currently looking to hold the baptisms during the Sunday morning service, either on March 15 or March 22 (TBD).
