The Lord instructs us to pray for our nation and our leaders. We find it easy to comment, critique, and lament where we are as a nation. But we also have the privilege and responsibility to intercede. We can position our hearts in humility before the Lord and seek his mercy and wisdom. Please consider joining us as we bring our nation before the Lord every week. (To be very clear, the prayer time will be for the Lord’s direction, wisdom, and mercy. This will not be a forum to promote political agendas or attack political leaders or our government.)
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
The banner over us is: “one nation under God.” We know where two or more are gathered in His name He will be in our midst.
