Our Father’s Heart: Intercessory Prayer Team
Intercession is a type of prayer. We see another person or situation in need of God’s healing touch, and we ask God to make what isn’t right whole. This intercessory prayer team is especially focused on praying over Wellspring, its ministries, and its people. The team meets on the fourth Sunday of very month at 6:30pm to worship and pray. Join us!
We find it easy to comment, critique, and lament where we are as a nation. But we also have the privilege and responsibility to intercede. We can position our hearts in humility before the Lord and seek his mercy and wisdom. Join us on Thursday nights to pray together for our nation.
The Prayer Chain Team responds to specific needs in the community in prayer. They also celebrate and give thanks with individuals and families for God’s healing hand in the places we work to bring the Kingdom of God. Practically speaking, this is done through a googlegroup, which made up of a team of committed intercessors. Submit a request or request to join the team here.
The After-Service Prayer Team is there to respond with you to what the Lord has done in your heart during worship service. We aim to bless and encourage! These prayer ministers gather at the front of the Sanctuary after service. For prayer, simply come forward! Interested in serving on the team? Keep your eyes open for the “Becoming a Prayer Servant to Others Class.” It is offered once or twice a year and is promoted on Sunday mornings and through the e-newsletter.
Bethesda cultivates and advances the healing ministry of Wellspring Church (physical, emotional and spiritual healing). Healing prayer appointments, open walk-in healing clinics, training and support for healing ministers are at the heart of Bethesda. The team is made up of individuals who have taken the full-year, Elijah House course, which is offered annually.
