Vacation Bible School Testimonies
Last week, Wellspring was transformed into "Camp Joy" for our Vacation Bible School. Forty-four kids from the community and our church had a JOY-filled time of camping out in God's word! It's such a blessing to see kids open their hearts to Jesus, and be excited to worship Him and learn more about His word. A big THANKS to all the VBS Team for helping to create such a special and meaningful experience for Kids.
Check out some pictures (below) and read some of the feedback we received from Parents about their Kids' experience:
"They were so excited to come every day. They loved the crafts and the puppets. The yummy snacks were an extra bonus! On the way home we talked about what they did / learned and they loved reciting the verses and showing me the hand motions. They told me today that they opened their heart to God."
"They LOVED camp! They loved the crafts and S'mores! We sang the songs all the way home from camp. They discussed how much they talked about God at camp."
"Everyone was so nice! The children were so happy!"
"My three boys definitely enjoyed VBS. One enjoyed dancing, singing and making arts/crafts. He has them lined up on his nightstand. One of my boys cried after we came home when he heard it was the last night. He was very sad."
"Both my daughters absolutely loved their experiences at VBS. Their favorite parts were the crafts, group songs and learning about God. It is such a very safe space for them, surrounded by such kind people. They love learning about God and the Bible in such a creative setting. My older daughter became inspired to say more prayers consistently in her daily routine. She was reminded how grateful she is to be part of God's world, and she takes more time during her day to pray."
"I loved seeing him enjoy himself and worship. I loved that he learned about the Bible. He's been singing the songs in the car."
"My granddaughter loved this week's program. She shared with me about the tag game: sin freezes, Jesus frees! She learned about how God created nature and the next day we visited a waterfall, and we looked for "nature" - animals, mountains, clouds, etc. She made three friends and so looked forward to time at VBS with them."
"My kids loved the music and how engaging and friendly the staff were. As a parent, it was nice how my girls loved going to Bible camp and looked forward to it every day. They loved sharing their favorite parts, which were different for each of them. The girls were bringing their Bibles to read stories at nighttime, and just really excited to share what they learned! They also played "Bible Camp" and wanted to listen to Christian music during the week."
"My daughter loved VBS! when I asked her what her favorite part was, she said, 'EVERYTHING!'"
