In 1 Thessalonians 4, the Apostle Paul addresses questions raised by the Thessalonians about believers who have died since Paul's missionary efforts there. In this earliest of NT documents we see how Paul addressed the very real concern of brothers and sisters in the faith dying before the soon-expected return of Jesus. And how about us today, what is our hope in the face of death and for the Kingdom of God?
