Growing in Faith Opportunities
Fall 2024
Growing in Faith Opportunities
At Wellspring our faith is so much more than what we believe. Our desire is for our faith to be living and active because God is alive and a real part of our journey to follow him.
This fall, Wellspring is offering great opportunities to grow stronger and deeper in our living faith.
We all need the Lord's strength-all the time. And we need to be deeply rooted in Him so that we stay strong when our world is shaking all around us. We encourage everyone to consider these two education offerings and the Camp Meeting and invest yourselves in growing your faith.
I Thessalonians Sermon and Small Group Study Series
September 22 - December 1 (8 week study spread out over 12 weeks)
This past spring, we taught and studied through a series titled Living the Sacred
Us. An underlying theme of this series was an understanding of Koinonia, defined as fellowship, communion, and community. That is, living as part of the family of God. In fact, beginning with the Gospels and continuing through all the descriptions of the earliest churches and the apostle's letters and instructions, it's all Koinonia.
One of the scriptures we used in the Living the Sacred Us series was the centrality of Faith, Love and Hope found right at the beginning of I Thessalonians (1:3). This fall we will continue looking at the rest of this short letter to the churches in Thessalonica. In this deeply personal letter, Paul gives us wise and practical advice on how to live our lives with gratitude, grace, and glory.
We're excited to peek through the window of 1 Thessalonians into the passionate experience of Paul and the early converts to the Gospel (the Good News of Jesus). Our goals are to:
- be Encouraged in Gospel hope
- Experience the Sacred Us and
- be Equipped for God's Kingdom future
We are preparing our current groups and forming new groups to accommodate all of you. Don't miss the opportunity to go on this journey with your Wellspring family.
If you are looking to join a small group you can sign up in the café after services in September or FILL OUT THIS FORM and we will work with you to find the group for you.
