Staff Updates
From Pastor Rick and the Elders:
Some good news to share about three of our staff team!
Cyndy Bezz has done a great job filling Jaisy Martin's shoes over the year+ since Jaisy has retired, and has been promoted from the job of "Office Administrator" to "Church Administrator." Cyndy is the person to see if you need anything done or any information regarding schedule, building or budget matters. She is doing a great job.
Laurie McCarty also has a new title that reflects her versatility and value to our Wellspring staff team. Laurie has been serving as "Operations Manager," overseeing staff supervision and coordinating many issues with our Facilities Deacon and our Administrator. She will continue in those duties, but her new title of "Senior Associate Minister" recognizes her value on the "ministry side" of Wellspring. Laurie has taught classes, consults regularly with the pastoral team, encourages and coaches lay ministry leaders, is a prayer leader and prayer minister and coaches and supervises many of our staff team. She is an invaluable "utility player," filling many roles very effectively.
Finally, Pastor John Rosario has now been in his full-time pastoral role for over a year. By the end of his month, Pastor John will move his desk from the main office to the office down the hall from Pastor Rick. This move recognizes John's good work amongst us and will afford him greater opportunity to meet with individuals and volunteer teams as he carries forth his ministry.
We are grateful for all our staff--and we celebrate the accomplishments of these three in particular.
